I shot this photo onsite at the studio and utilized lighting to accentuate the contrast between the pointe shoe and 'work' boot. This became the basis for the campaign; it was both a great shot for the GoFundMe and a perfect template for the digital logo designs.

After seeing the design, Julie voiced in passing the idea of making it a neon sign for the outside of the studio. This prompted me to design a mock-up of the logo as a neon sign against a dark brick that was then printed, displayed, and also sold at the studio to contribute to the cause. This was great fun to design, and the small details really complete the piece when blown up to full poster size.
